Bass, Berry & Sims attorney Brant Phillips was selected to participate in the Leadership Nashville 2018-2019 class. This year’s class of 44 individuals was chosen from more than 275 applicants and represents a diversity of races, religions, ages and backgrounds. This nine-month program is designed to nurture community leaders for our city. Throughout the program, participants will focus on issues related to government, media, education, business, labor, diversity, quality of life, human services, health, arts, entertainment, crime and criminal justice.
As outlined on the Leadership Nashville website, the goal of Leadership Nashville today is the same as it was when it started in 1976:
- To build channels of communication between established leaders.
- To connect these leaders with community issues.
- To equip participants with insights not solutions.
