Nashville Mayor John Cooper announced on May 14 that Bob Cooper will resign his post as Metro Director of Law and will be returning to Bass, Berry & Sims in June. Bob left the firm in November 2019 to assume the position with the mayor’s office. He previously served as Attorney General from 2006-2014.
Replacing Bob as Metro Director of Law will be Bass, Berry & Sims attorney Wally Dietz. Wally has been with the firm since 1983 and focuses his practice on international anti-corruption and investigations.
