Bass, Berry & Sims attorney Bill Mathias has been appointed to serve in two leadership positions within the American Bar Association’s (ABA) Health Law Section. Beginning on September 1, 2023, Bill will serve as Co-Chair of the Emerging Issues in Health Law Conference and as Vice Chair of the Programs Executive Leadership. Each position is a one-year term. Bill has supported the important work of the ABA Health Law Section for much of his career, including serving in a variety of leadership roles.
The ABA’s Health Law Section is the voice of the national health law bar within the ABA. Its 8,500 strong members from across the United States represent clients in all segments of the health care industry, including physicians, hospitals and other institutional providers, teaching and research organizations, managed care organizations and other third-party payors, pharmaceutical companies and device manufacturers.
