Nashville, Tenn., (November 8, 2012) – Bass, Berry & Sims PLC is pleased to welcome five new associates to the firm’s Nashville office: Jennie Brooks, Stefanie Polauf Carter, John C. Eason, Anna E. Gernert and Brad L. Hart.

Jennie Brooks joins the Corporate and Securities Practice. Brooks earned her law degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law and received a B.S. in Political Science from the University of Tennessee at Martin.

Stefanie Polauf Carter joins the Healthcare Practice. Stefanie earned her law degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law. She attended Vanderbilt University and received a B.S. in Human and Organizational Development.

John C. Eason joins the Litigation Practice. He earned his J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School and a B.A. in Government from Georgetown University. Prior to joining the firm, Eason served a one-year judicial clerkship with the Honorable Anita Brody on the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Anna E. Gernert joins the Commercial Practice (Real Estate and Financial Transactions). Gernert earned her law degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law and a B.B.A. in Risk Management and Insurance from the University of Georgia.

Brad L. Hart joins the Corporate and Securities Practice. Hart earned his law degree from the University of Kentucky College of Law. He received a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Kentucky.
