Bass, Berry & Sims was named Litigation Department of the Year at the 2026 Southeastern Legal Awards presented by The Daily Report and Law.com. The annual awards program recognizes outstanding achievements and contributions by individuals, law firms and legal departments across a broad range of practice areas and specialties, including litigation work performed by lawyers based in Southeastern offices.

Bass, Berry & Sims was selected over a finalist field that included Dentons, Eversheds Sutherland, Holland & Knight, Jones Day, King & Spalding, Law Offices of James Scott Farrin and Moore & Van Allen.

Over the past year, Bass, Berry & Sims has continued to strengthen its national litigation platform through significant wins in complex litigation, investigations and enforcement matters. The firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group includes more than 100 attorneys and has continued to experience significant growth. Since the beginning of 2025, the practice has added 15 lateral attorneys, further strengthening its national capabilities and depth across key litigation and investigations areas.

The firm was also recognized as a finalist for White Collar Department of the Year. In addition, associate Hunter Yoches was honored with the “On the Rise in Tennessee” award, recognizing emerging legal talent in the region.
