Nashville, Tenn., (February 26, 2019) – Bass, Berry & Sims is pleased to welcome William “Trey” L. Moore III as a Senior Public Policy Counsel and Courtney A. Hunter as an Associate in the Nashville office.
William “Trey” L. Moore III represents clients before the Tennessee General Assembly and the executive branch departments, agencies and commissions of Tennessee government. In this role, he advises companies, organizations and associations related to state legislative and regulatory issues. Prior to joining Bass, Berry & Sims, Moore served as Vice President of Government Relations at Acadia Healthcare and previously worked as a lobbyist with BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee and as Director of Policy at the Beacon Center of Tennessee. He earned a J.D. from Nashville School of Law (2015) and a B.A. from The University of the South (2007).
Courtney A. Hunter advises clients in connection with internal and government investigations, business disputes, breach of contract disputes, and products liability matters. Prior to joining Bass, Berry & Sims, Hunter was an associate at Sullivan & Cromwell in New York. She earned a J.D. from Vanderbilt Law School (2016) and a B.A. from the University of Florida (2013).
Courtney A. Hunter is currently licensed to practice in New York and registered to practice in Tennessee pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 7 Sec. 10.04.
