Bass, Berry & Sims attorney Al Bright, Jr. was named to the Memphis Business Journal Power 100 list for 2022. Al was also named to the list in 2019 and 2021. The annual list features the city’s most influential leaders making an impact on the landscape in Memphis.
The Memphis Business Journal named Al to the list for his work with the firm and his leadership of the Economic Development Growth Engine (EDGE) for Memphis and Shelby County. Since 2012, Al has chaired the organization tasked with growing corporate investment in the area. He is also a key figure working to find a replacement for the EDGE president who left at the end of 2021.
Throughout Al’s legal career, he has counseled businesses of all sizes on a range of corporate matters providing clients with a holistic perspective and practical solutions to efficiently resolve challenges. He works with clients across industries, with a focus in the biotech, pharma, life sciences, medical device, manufacturing and distribution sectors.
