We successfully defended a national durable medical equipment provider in overturning several revocations of Medicare enrollment and billing privileges and associated three-year re-enrollment bar. We were able to overturn the Medicare Administrative Contractor’s revocations through the submission of Corrective Action Plans (CAPs). The CAP addressed the changes necessary to comply with the supplier standards and was found in compliance with Community Health Accreditation Partner and DMEPOS supplier standards. The reconsideration-level appeal resulted in overturning the revocation and re-enrollment bar and reinstatement effective retroactively, ensuring the provider had no financial impact from the original revocation.
