We counseled Strategic Storage Toronto Properties REIT, Inc. in its merger with a subsidiary of Strategic Storage Trust II, Inc., a public, non-traded, self-storage REIT based in Southern California. Strategic Storage Toronto’s portfolio, five self-storage properties consisting of approximately 460,400 rentable square feet and 4,010 units, was acquired for approximately $110 million CAD (approximately $85 million USD).
