Pro Bono Team Helps Memphis Woman Adopt Granddaughters

A team from our Memphis office represented a woman in a four-year adoption process to gain full custody of her two granddaughters. The grandmother had been raising the sisters since they were toddlers and began the adoption process in 2015. The adoption concluded in March 2019 when the grandmother was awarded full custody of both granddaughters. Pictured below is the family and our team of attorneys with Chancellor Walter L. Evans at the signing of the petition.
