We represented Dobbs Equity Partners in its acquisition of a majority interest in Corky’s. Based in Memphis, Tennessee, Corky’s is a multi-channeled business built on the foundation of its successful barbecue restaurants and catering services. Through its manufacturing, retail and fulfillment operations, Corky’s manufactures and distributes its own brand, as well as third-party brands, of retail food products to Wal-Mart, Sam’s Club, Costco, Publix, Kroger and other retail outlets, and provides direct-to-consumer retail sales through its presence on QVC.
