Defense of Real Estate Investment Trust Against Trademark Defamation Claims

We represent a real estate investment trust that develops, redevelops, acquires, and manages apartment communities in a trademark defamation case. We won a monetary judgement and permanent injunction on behalf of the client. The proceedings are ongoing due to two contempt motions that we have successfully prosecuted against the plaintiff. The plaintiff has also brought several appeals that we have successfully defended. There are currently three newly appealed orders which are pending.
