Pro Bono Team Secures Adoption for Family During COVID-19 Pandemic

Members of our Pro Bono Adoption Team were able to finalize an adoption despite the closure of the courts amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The adoption paperwork was in order but the court closed before the order and paperwork could be processed. The team coordinated with the judge hearing the case to ensure the family was able to obtain a final adoption order and hand-delivered the final order to the family at home.
