Bass, Berry & Sims attorney Jeff Davis will speak at American Health Law Association’s (AHLA) upcoming webinar titled, “What Every Hospital Lawyer Must Know Before the New Year.” Jeff will co-present with Amanda Hayes-Kibreab, partner at King & Spalding LLP and Hope Levy-Biehl, partner at Davis Wright Tremaine LLP.
In this webinar, the attorneys will provide a summary of things on the horizon for 2022 and mandates that go into effect. Each panelist will present a different topic:
- Amanda Hayes-Kibreab will give an overview of the No Surprises Act (NSA) provisions taking effect January 1, 2022, including those implemented by the latest interim final rule;.
- Jeff Davis will give updates on reporting requirements, future funding phases, and the potential for government scrutiny related to the CARES Act Provider Relief funds.
