Bass, Berry & Sims attorney Anna Grizzle will speak at the Physicians and Hospitals Law Institute hosted by American Health Lawyers Association (AHLA). John will speak during the session titled “Physician and Hospital Payment Changes – What’s New and How Do We Handle It?,” which will address general payment trends and the changes that have occurred during the past year that further impact these payments.
Anna will speak during a session titled “Physicians In the Crosshairs: Effective Strategies For Dealing With Recent Enforcement,” and will cover these objectives:
- Overview and lessons learned from recent enforcement actions and government enforcement priorities involving physician compensation, documentation, retention of overpayments, and quality incentive matters
- Understanding the impact of technology and data analytics on these enforcement priorities
- Effective strategies and best practices for navigating compliance and enforcement issues involving physicians and dealing with government regulators
This program will be held February 8-10, 2016 in Austin, Texas.
