Bass, Berry & Sims attorney Jeff Davis will speak at American Health Law Association’s (AHLA) upcoming webinar titled, “No Surprises Act—Health IT and Interoperability Implications.” Jeff will co-present with John Mast, Lead Regulatory Product Strategist at Cerner.

In this webinar, the panelists will review the requirements of the No Surprises Act legislation and interim final rules that have been issued to implement the statute and will delve into how the requirements of the No Surprises Act may impact Health IT. Panelists will examine the expectations around interoperability capabilities necessary to lessen the administrative and regulatory burden brought on by the No Surprises Act. Participants will leave with a better understanding of the interplay of the payer, provider, and facility requirements of the No Surprises Act and their implications for HIT.
