Bass, Berry & Sims attorney Lisa Rivera will speak at the Regional Compliance Conference hosted by the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA). Lisa will participate on a panel titled “Navigating the Changing Regulatory and Enforcement Landscape Relating to Opioids.” The panelists will discuss the following topics:
- Current regulatory landscape and recent enforcement actions
- Government’s perspective on current opioid enforcement initiatives
- Helpful tips for auditing physician prescribing habits and responding to an enforcement action
