Bass, Berry & Sims attorney Will Gebo will serve as a panelist during the American Bar Association’s (ABA) 2025 May Tax Meeting Plans Conference in Washington, D.C., on May 9. The panel, presented by the Employee Benefits Multiple Employer Plans Subcommittee, will provide an overview on pooled employer plans (PEPs) under the SECURE Act. PEPs have recently become a fast-growing vehicle for employers of all sizes to provide retirement benefits to their respective employees. Included in the discussion will be an overview of PEPs and pooled plan providers, the status of current guidance, and a real-world discussion of current trends that attorneys who have experience in the PEP space have seen.
