Bass, Berry & Sims attorneys Matt Curley, Anna Grizzle and Lisa Rivera will participate in the International Performance Management Institute (IPMI) Healthcare Law & Compliance Institute.

Anna will participate in a Fireside Chat titled “DOJ Perspective on Compliance Best Practices for Healthcare Companies” with Allan Medina (Deputy Chief for Healthcare Fraud with DOJ).

Matt and Lisa are serving as panelists on a session titled, “Practical Approaches to Investigating and Remediating Compliance Issues.” This panel will evaluate how organizations can conduct effective investigations of allegations of misconduct, undertake a thoughtful root cause analysis and implement timely and appropriate remediation in order to address root causes, as well as how organizations can expect to interact with government regulators and potential whistleblowers regarding such issues.

Matt will also serve as a panelist on a session titled, “Critical Insights, Updates and Considerations in the Healthcare Law Landscape.”

The Healthcare Law & Compliance Institute will be held February 27-March 1 at the Ritz-Carlton in Sarasota, Florida.
