Bass Berry & Sims attorneys Jennifer Michael, Krista Cooper and Justin Brown will present at the Nashville Council of Health Care Attorneys’ upcoming meeting in a presentation titled, “Fraud and Abuse Considerations for Outpatient Acquisitions, Joint Ventures, and Value-Based Arrangements.”
This one-hour program will focus on fraud and abuse considerations for outpatient services transactions for hospitals and health systems, including acquisitions, contractual and equity joint ventures, and value-based arrangements with physicians, vendors, post-acute providers, and other facilities. Focusing primarily on the anti-kickback statute and physician self-referral law, the presenters will discuss structural and operational considerations at the forefront of these arrangements.
This event will be held on Friday, March 24, at 8:00 a.m. at the Community Health Systems office in Franklin, Tennessee. This event is approved for 1.0 hours of General CLE credit.
