Bass, Berry & Sims attorney Will Gebo will serve as a panelist during the American Bar Association’s (ABA) 2024 May Tax Meeting Plans Conference in Washington, DC, on May 3. The panel, presented by the Employee Benefits Multiple Employer Plans Subcommittee, will cover 2023-24 updates, developments, and important unanswered questions on all types of multiple employer plans, PEPS, Association plans, PEO plans, GOOPs, and State sponsored auto-IRA programs. The discussion will also include a summary of SECURE Acts 1.0 And 2.0, current agency guidance, effect of DOL proposed rule on Association Health Plans, MEP and PEP reporting rules and audit rules, IRS proposed unified plan rule, state sponsored MEPs, future PEP considerations, and an analysis of current PEP models.
