Bass, Berry & Sims attorney Kristin Bohl will co-present at the American Health Law Association’s Physicians and Hospital Law Institute 2022 in a session titled, “Ensuring Physician-Hospital Transactions Will Survive Future Compliance Scrutiny.” Kristin will co-present with Albert D. “Chip” Hutzler, Director at HORNE.
In this session, Kristin and Chip will review the top 10 physician compliance risk areas, including False Claims Act, Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statue, and more. They will provide insight on how to avoid compliance concerns in transaction terms and ensure that all documentation is compliant and ready for litigation. They will also review how the risk areas have been affected by new regulations and what happens when there are compliance and documentation problems.
