Bass, Berry & Sims attorney Thad McBride will present a training webinar titled, “Addressing Third Party FCPA Compliance Risks,” for the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics (SCCE). This program will cover a wide range of topics, beginning with an overview of FCPA provisions and the basis for liability for conduct by third parties, then moving to a summary of third party relationships that create risk, such as those involving agents, distributors, and venue partners.
The program will then turn to lessons learned from past enforcement actions involving conduct by third parties and compliance measures and advice for addressing risks related to third parties, ending with investigative steps in the case of an actual or potential violation by a third party.
