Bass, Berry & Sims attorneys Shayne Clinton, Brant Phillips and Ryan Thomas will present at an Association of Corporate Counsel event on July 22, 2015. Through a discussion of case law, practical anecdotes and first hand experiences, their hour long presentation titled “Attorney-Client Privilege: What Is Privileged and How to Keep It That Way” will address these topics:
- Clarify what communications are covered by the privilege
- Suggest measures for protecting privilege within the company, and in the board room
- Clarify the role and use of outside counsel in preserving privilege
- Present keys to preserving privilege in the transactional process
