Bass Berry & Sims attorneys Justin Brown, Anna Grizzle and Travis Lloyd will present at the Nashville Council of Health Care Attorneys’ upcoming meeting in a presentation titled, “A Closer Look: Recent Stark Law and Anti-Kickback Statute Cases Involving Hospital-Physician Arrangements.”
This one-hour program will focus on the latest cases, including those involving the use of hospital-employed mid-level providers to support independent physicians, those involving interpretation of the Stark law’s volume or value standard, and the largest FCA settlement based on Stark law violations in the history of the Department of Justice. The presenters will go beyond the press releases to highlight unique factors, explore common threads, and share best practices.
This event will be held on Friday, March 22, at 8:00 a.m. at the Community Health Systems office in Franklin, Tennessee. This event is approved for 1.0 hours of General CLE credit.
