Angela Humphreys will co-present in a session titled, “Healthcare Private Equity, Moving Into the Government’s Crosshairs,” that will discuss how private equity (PE), through mergers and acquisitions, has moved into the healthcare space in a very big way, how whistleblowers and law enforcement have taken notice, and the pitfalls and sand traps for PE to avoid from the due diligence through the post-M&A period.
John Kelly will speak on a panel, titled, “Managed Care Enforcement Trends and Compliance Risks,” reviewing enforcement trends against Medicare and Medicaid Managed care organizations and providers, the key risk areas and best practices for minimizing exposure, and how compliance deficiencies in managed care processes and risk adjustment data create exposures.
