Bass, Berry & Sims represented a national private equity firm in an FCA retaliation lawsuit brought by an employee of a hospice and home health services company owned by the private equity firm. The district court granted our client’s motion to dismiss with prejudice, holding that the private equity firm could not be held liable for alleged retaliation by the portfolio company.
