Jack Nelson is an associate in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group where he represents clients in complex business litigation and government investigations. He also advises clients in shareholder disputes, derivative actions, and litigation related to mergers and acquisitions and breach of fiduciary duty.
Prior to joining Bass, Berry & Sims, Jack was an associate in the New York office of Sullivan & Cromwell, LLP, where he focused on securities litigation. After law school, Jack clerked for the Honorable Gerald J. Pappert, United States District Judge for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Jack graduated as the valedictorian of his class from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law. Jack earned his undergraduate degree from Boston College, where he was a pitcher on the baseball team.
