We served as lead counsel to ambulatory surgery center operator in its efforts to obtain a Certificate of Need (CON) to build a $10 million radiation therapy facility in Knoxville, Tennessee that would include a state-of-the-art linear accelerator. The project was approved by state regulators despite opposition from all of the major hospital systems in Knoxville.
