Jimmy Snodgrass advises employers on a range of employment matters arising under state and federal law, such as issues regarding discrimination, disability, wage and hour disputes, and employee discipline, among others. Jimmy regularly counsels clients through complex litigation, providing strategic and thorough defense across the full range of employment-related claims and disputes. In addition, he assists companies with resolving labor disputes through arbitration and responding to unfair labor practice charges before the National Labor Relations Board.
Prior to joining Bass, Berry & Sims, Jimmy was an associate at the Knoxville office of Kramer Rayson LLP focusing on employment law. After law school, he served as law clerk to U.S. Magistrate Judges H. Bruce Guyton and Debra C. Poplin of the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Tennessee and as a pro se law clerk to U.S. District Judge Thomas A. Varlan of the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Tennessee. Jimmy earned a law degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law and an undergraduate degree in political science from the University of Tennessee.
