Marc Rigsby serves as Counsel in the firm’s healthcare practice group, focusing his practice on mergers and acquisitions and regularly conducting due diligence and advising clients on a range of regulatory issues, including compliance with Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, Corporate Practice of Medicine, Certificate of Need (CON) and HIPAA.

Prior to joining Bass, Berry & Sims, Marc was an associate at Flaherty Sensabaugh Bonasso, PLLC in Charleston, West Virginia.

One of the highlights and biggest honors of Marc’s legal career was getting the opportunity to interview U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas while attending Wake Forest University School of Law for the school’s “A Conversation with . . .” series (video linked here).
