Justin Powers represents regional and national developers, buyers, sellers, landlords, and tenants on a range of commercial real estate transactions. His practice involves advising clients across the retail, healthcare, industrial, multifamily, office, and mixed-use assets sectors. Justin’s practice includes:
- Assisting clients in the acquisition, financing, development, and disposition of real property.
- Counseling landlords and tenants on commercial leasing matters, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating office and retail leases, healthcare facility and medical office building leases, and industrial and warehouse leases.
- Advising lenders and borrowers in financing transactions, including drafting and negotiating loan documents, due diligence, and closing coordination.
Prior to joining Bass, Berry & Sims, Justin was an associate at Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel, P.C. in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He earned a law degree from Belmont University College of Law and an undergraduate degree in commerce & business from Rhodes College. During law school he served as an articles and notes editor for the Belmont Law Review.
