Sarah Philpot is the Managing Director for the Intellectual Property & Technology and the Labor & Employment Practice Groups at Bass, Berry & Sims. In her role, Sarah works closely with the practice chairs and attorneys on overall practice group management and business development strategy. Prior to assuming this position, Sarah was the Practice & Business Development Manager and Marketing & Business Development Coordinator with the firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group.

Sarah is a member of the firm’s Pro Bono Committee and the Nashville Chapter of the Legal Marketing Association. Prior to joining Bass, Berry & Sims, Sarah worked in sales for two leading technology companies. Her experience includes managing a large team of sales representatives, forecasting revenue performance to company leadership and external clients, and leading sales coaching programs. She earned a M.B.A. in marketing and a B.S. in journalism from Middle Tennessee State University.
