James O. Bass, Jr., a retired Member, practiced with Bass, Berry & Sims beginning in 1961. A graduate of Vanderbilt University with B.A. and LL.B. degrees, Mr. Bass was named to the Order of the Coif, was editor-in-chief of the Vanderbilt Law Review and graduated with first honors from Vanderbilt Law School. Mr. Bass concentrates his practice on banking law, antitrust and business litigation. He has been listed in Best Lawyers in America® for more than 20 consecutive years.
