Laci Alsup advises clients on real estate transactions with a particular focus on title and survey matters. She works with clients from a variety of industries, such as healthcare, manufacturing, retail and others. Her practice includes:
- Underwriting title insurance policies for transactions involving privately held and publicly traded companies, many being development deals and large multisite transactions.
- Reviewing purchase and sale contracts, evaluating title work after search of property title, assessing risks discovered, analyzing survey matters, and reviewing closing documents.
- Negotiating and drafting office leases, retail leases, subleases and amendments for landlords and tenants.
Prior to joining Bass, Berry & Sims, Laci was underwriting counsel at First American Title Insurance Company.
