Nashville, Tenn., (June 26, 2013) – Bass, Berry & Sims PLC is pleased to announce that Erica Vick has been named a Senior Public Policy Advisor for the firm. In her new role, Vick will partner with veteran lobbyist Dick Lodge to lead the Tennessee State Public Policy section of the firm’s Government Advocacy Group.

Vick joined Bass, Berry & Sims in 2004 as a commercial litigator and has focused her practice on government relations and advocacy. She is a registered lobbyist for business interests including financial institutions, healthcare providers, utilities, nuclear industry services and distilled spirits. She represents business interests before the Tennessee General Assembly and Executive Branch and has worked on multiple landmark public policy initiatives. She has participated in various administrative rule-making proceedings and has appeared before state agencies and commissions. Vick has extensive knowledge of Tennessee campaign finance law and co-authored the Tennessee Chapter of the 2012 State Capital Group’s Lobbying, PACs and Campaign Finance: 50 State Handbook. She also manages and coordinates fundraising and campaign contributions for clients and the firm’s political action committee.

A native of Greeneville, Tennessee, Vick earned her J.D. and B.A. from the University of Tennessee. She is currently serving on the 2012-2013 board of directors of the Junior League of Nashville and regularly volunteers with the Nashville Public Library.
