Bass, Berry & Sims attorney Brian Roark will serve as Chair of the Tennessee Bar Association’s (TBA) Health Law Section for 2017. In this role, Brian will lead the section’s executive council, consisting of delegates from across the state. The TBA Health Law Section is one of the largest such sections in the country and works to further the bar’s knowledge of federal, state and local healthcare laws and regulations through educational programs such as the TBA’s annual Health Law Forum.
Brian represents healthcare clients responding to governmental investigations and defending False Claims Act lawsuits. He currently leads the firm’s Healthcare Fraud Task Force and serves as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Vanderbilt University, teaching a class on healthcare fraud and abuse.
