The firm’s Immigration Practice works alongside HR teams, in-house counsel, and business leaders to solve real workforce challenges and provide proactive, business-focused counsel on all aspects of U.S. immigration law.
Katz’s practice includes visa management and applications, immigrant petition processes, and employment eligibility matters, among others. She also collaborates with the firm’s corporate practice to advise in the context of mergers and acquisitions and corporate restructuring to ensure businesses remain compliant with immigration law through transactions.
Prior to joining Bass, Berry & Sims, Katz was a partner at Holland & Knight LLP. She is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association and an alumna of the Nashville Young Leaders Council. Katz earned her bachelor’s degree from Tufts University and her J.D. from the University of Colorado School of Law.
