Nashville, Tenn., (November 21, 2014) – Bass, Berry & Sims PLC is pleased to welcome 10 new attorneys to the firm: nine in Nashville and one in Memphis.

Taylor J. Ashley – (Associate, Nashville) joins the firm’s Corporate & Securities Practice Group assisting companies on corporate transactions with a focus on mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining Bass, Berry & Sims, Taylor was an associate at the Dallas office of Jones Day where he advised clients in matters related to public and private mergers and acquisitions and capital markets. Taylor graduated from Harvard Law School and earned a B.S. from the University of Kentucky.

Dustin Carlton – (Associate, Nashville) represents employers in a variety of traditional labor and employment matters including wage and hour, employment discrimination, retaliation, and harassment claims. Before joining the firm, Dustin served as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Samuel G. Wilson of the Western District of Virginia. Dustin graduated from Wake Forest University School of Law and earned a B.A. in theology from Oral Roberts University.

Adrienne E. Coronado – (Associate, Nashville) is a litigator representing clients in business disputes and breach of contract disputes. Prior to attending law school, Adrienne worked with the City of Winston-Salem (North Carolina) as a Fair Housing Investigator, conducting housing discrimination investigations for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. She earned a law degree from Vanderbilt University and a B.A. from Wake Forest University.

Johnathan “Devon” Holbrook – (Associate, Nashville) joins the firm’s Intellectual Property & Technology Practice Group and assists clients in the protection and maintenance of their intellectual property assets. Devon earned a J.D., Master of Accountancy and a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Tennessee.

T. Mitchell James, III – (Associate, Nashville) joins the firm’s Healthcare Practice Group and provides guidance on operational, regulatory and transactional support related to state and federal regulations, licensure, compliance and diligence for healthcare clients. Mitchell earned his law degree from Vanderbilt University. He earned a B.A. in history and political science from the University of Alabama.

Sarah Miller – (Attorney, Nashville) joins the firm’s Litigation Practice Group. Prior to joining the firm, Sarah practiced in the Washington, D.C. office of Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice, LLP, focusing on all aspects of business litigation, including white collar defense cases and compliance matters related to various state and federal statutes and regulations. Sarah graduated from William & Mary Law School and earned a B.A. from the University of North Carolina.

Clark Milner – (Associate, Nashville) is a litigator representing clients in breach of contract disputes and business torts and fraud. Before joining the firm, Clark served as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Thomas A. Varlan of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee. Clark received his law degree from the University of Tennessee and a B.B.A. from the University of Georgia.

Amy A. Poe – (Associate, Nashville) joins the firm’s Healthcare Practice Group and focuses her practice on operational, regulatory and transactional support for wide range of national healthcare providers. Amy received her J.D. and a M.P.H. from the University of North Carolina and a B.A. from Davidson College. Prior to joining the firm, Amy practiced in Raleigh, North Carolina with Smith, Anderson, Blount, Dorsett, Mitchell & Jernigan, LLP. She has also worked for Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina, the University of North Carolina Health Care System and as research trial coordinator and research assistant at various clinical facilities.

Ashley N. Thurman – (Associate, Nashville) joins the firm’s Corporate & Securities Practice Group focusing on matters related to corporate governance, SEC filings and offerings work, and mergers and acquisitions. Ashley graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Law and earned a B.A. in political science from Vanderbilt University.

Christopher J. Tutor – (Associate, Memphis) counsels clients in matters relating to commercial real estate and debt financings. Chris received his law degree from the University of Memphis and graduated from Washington & Lee University with a triple major in economics, politics and classics.
