About Todd R. Overman
Overman, who launched the Government Contracts practice when he joined the firm in February 2014, is a member in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. With more than a decade of experience advising companies on the unique aspects of doing business with the federal government, his practice includes advice on bid protests and contract disputes, M&A support, and compliance counseling. He has particular experience on structuring transactions and corporate reorganizations to ensure compliance with the Anti-Assignment Act, as well as navigating the rules impacting the acquisition of small businesses. He also has extensive experience counseling clients on SBA’s size and affiliation rules, as well as helping companies obtain assistance through the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR), 8(a) Business Development, Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB), and Service Disabled Veteran Owned (SDVO) programs.
Overman earned his undergraduate degree from Duke University and his law degree from Vanderbilt University.
About Bryan R. King
King, also seated in the firm’s Washington office, focuses his practice on a range of federal contracting matters, including handling all aspects of bid protests and appeals. He has represented numerous government contractors before the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, Government Accountability Office (GAO), Small Business Administration (SBA) Office of Hearings and Appeals, the Civilian and Armed Services Boards of Contract Appeals and other government agencies on procurement-related issues.
King earned his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University and his law degree from The George Washington University.
