Represented a publicly-owned specialty retailer and its subsidiary in filing a lawsuit alleging breach of multiple restrictive covenants against a former employee after he opened a competing retail store within the time period covered by the non-compete. We filed a Complaint against the employee in federal district court, and subsequently negotiated a settlement that included an extension of the term of certain non-compete obligations and the entry by the district court of an injunction against the employee.
