We represented Cognito Systems LLC, a small business that specializes in human performance services, in a protest involving a contract for the United States Marine Corps (USMC) to provide certified athletic trainers and strength and conditioning specialists for the USMC’s sports medicine and injury program (SMIP).
Kako’o Spectrum Healthcare Solutions LLC (KSHS), the incumbent on the predecessor contract, among other things, asserted that they were prejudiced by the agency’s waiver of the page limitations requirement, and ultimately, USMC misevaluated the proposals. The Government Accountability Office (GAO) denied the protest, and in doing so, agreed with our team’s argument that KSHS was not prejudiced by any means.
