Defense of Automotive Glass Manufacturer in ADA Discrimination Case

Obtained summary judgment for an automotive glass manufacturer in an employment discrimination lawsuit filed by a former employee who claimed that his termination for a verbal attack and threat against his Team Lead was wrongful due to his behavioral disorders. The employee claimed that the company knew he struggled with behavioral disorders and the altercation could have been avoided had he been properly accommodated the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The Court rejected the plaintiff’s contentions and adopted many of the employer’s arguments.
