CON Approved for Upper Cumberland Orthopedic Surgery and The Campbell Clinic

Bass, Berry & Sims served as lead counsel to Upper Cumberland Orthopedic Surgery, P.C. (UCOS) and The Campbell Clinic in obtaining a certificate of need (CON) to establish a multi-specialty ambulatory surgical treatment center in Cookeville, Tennessee, specializing in orthopedic surgery, neurology, podiatric foot and ankle surgery and pain management. The CON project was unanimously approved by state regulators.

UCOS, which is now Tier 1 Orthopedic and Neurosurgical Institute and part of The Campbell Clinic family, operates one of the largest medical practices in Tennessee’s Upper Cumberland region and is the first multi-specialty orthopedic practice of its kind in the area. Founded in 1909, The Campbell Clinic is a nationally and internationally recognized leader in orthopedics with clinics and surgery centers throughout the southeast.
