Bass, Berry & Sims served as lead counsel to Tennessee Oncology PLLC in its efforts to obtain a Certificate of Need (CON) to initiate state-of-the-art positron emission tomography (PET) services at a new practice location in fast-growing Williamson County, Tennessee. The project was unanimously approved by state regulators. PET is the key diagnostic tool used in oncology today. Tennessee Oncology’s new PET service will work in close collaboration with the Scott Hamilton Proton Therapy Center now under construction on an adjacent site.
