CON Approved for Endoscopy Center in Chattanooga

We served as lead counsel to AmSurg Corp. in its efforts to obtain a Certificate of Need (CON) to relocate and expand an existing endoscopy center in Chattanooga, Tennessee. When it opens in early 2017, the facility will be home to 15 physician specialists who perform more than 20,000 endoscopic procedures annually – making the facility one of the largest of its kind in the region. Despite last-minute opposition from the Chattanooga-area’s largest hospital system, the $8.5 million project was unanimously approved by state regulators.
