Bass, Berry & Sims member Bill Mathias will present at the Tennessee Hospital Association’s (THA) 2025 Fall Compliance Conference. Bill will present during the session titled “How to Guide for Compliant Documentation in Hospital Medical Records.” This session will cover common compliance issues related to hospital medical record documentation, including the use of scribes, the risks and benefits of copy/paste, and when it is appropriate to rely on documentation by students, residents, nurses, and other allied health professionals. It will also provide practical guidance for effective training and auditing to support compliant documentation.
