Bass, Berry & Sims member Bill Mathias will present on a webinar for The American Health Law Association (AHLA), titled “Diffusing Compliance Landmines: An Interactive Discussion.” Bill, alongside co-speaker Kenya S. Woodruff and moderator Stephanie Haywood, will use hypotheticals to provide a real discussion on how to diffuse compliance landmines, including AKS, Stark, exclusion/licensing, and various billing issues. Speakers will also discuss analyzing situations to identify potential problems, corrective actions, and if necessary, making a disclosure.

- How to diffuse common compliance landmines affecting hospitals, physicians, and AMCs.
- Understand how conduct that looks problematic, may, upon further inspection, not actually be a problem.
