Bass, Berry & Sims attorneys Bill Mathias and Jeff Davis will be speaking at the American Health Law Association’s (AHLA) Annual Meeting in San Diego, California. Bill will be speaking in a session titled “Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure in Overpayments.” This is a discussion between Bill and Ted Lotchin, System Chief Compliance Officer of UNC Health, where they will explore the changes to the Medicare 60-day overpayment rule. Jeff will be speaking in a session titled “340B Uncharted: Navigating Pharma Restrictions, Evolving Interpretations and the Rebate Model Shift.” Jeff and Michelle Rae Pinzon, Senior Associate General Counsel of Northwell Health, will be discussing ongoing agency enforcement actions against 340B providers and/or manufacturers, the current litigation landscape of the 340B program and more.
