Hannah Ketring Brown provides healthcare regulatory and transactional counsel as it relates to mergers, acquisitions, compliance, and operational matters. As part of her practice, she advises hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, physician groups, other healthcare providers, management companies, and corporations on healthcare and corporate-related matters, including state and federal compliance and operational issues; Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payor reimbursement; fraud and abuse; and HIPAA.
Prior to joining Bass, Berry & Sims, Hannah was an associate at Holland & Knight, LLP. Before joining the legal industry, Hannah taught math and reading to third grade students through Teach for America and served as an English language support teacher with Metro Nashville Public Schools. Hannah earned a law degree from Belmont University College of Law, a Master of Education in instructional practice from Lipscomb University College of Education, and an undergraduate degree in English writing from Oklahoma Christian University.
